Artist submissions may include your name, email, artist name, track title, music or video links, social handles and message. Partnership enquiries may include your name, email, company, budget range, website and message.
Our first-party analytics records a limited event type, a page, form type or video identifier, and the time of the event. It does not create visitor profiles or deliberately store names, emails, advertising identifiers or IP addresses.
HOW AND WHY WE USE IT
We use submitted information to review music, respond to enquiries, discuss potential opportunities, protect the service and meet legal obligations. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating JDZ Media and responding to relevant enquiries, steps requested before entering a possible agreement, and legal obligations where applicable.
We use aggregate site events to understand which videos people play and whether the forms are working. This helps us improve the site without behavioural advertising.
WHO RECEIVES IT
Access is limited to the JDZ team and service providers needed to host, secure and operate the website. We do not sell personal information. If a collaboration moves forward, we may share relevant details with professional advisers or production partners where necessary and appropriate.
YOUTUBE AND INTERNATIONAL SERVICES
Videos open through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player only after you choose to play them. Google may then process device and usage information under its own privacy terms. Some technology providers may process information outside the UK; where required, we use providers that apply recognised legal safeguards for those transfers.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Submission and enquiry records are kept only while they are useful for reviewing your material, responding to you, managing a potential relationship or meeting legal requirements. Records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. First-party analytics events are automatically removed after two years.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to how it is used. You can also withdraw consent where consent applies. Email us to make a request.
If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
